I have been helping adopting step-parents throughout New Jersey with the adoption of their stepchildren for over 30 years.

Thirty years ago, when I worked for a NJ Family Court Judge, part of my job was to review all of the papers filed in every adoption case in the county. My judge relied upon me to make sure that the attorneys were properly preparing their clients' adoptions.

As a result of that intensive experience processing adoptions I became very familiar with the step-parent adoption process.

I've also "been there myself" personally as a step-parent.
